I've has led an interesting life as a Gen X-er, comics creator, graduate student, white collar professional, and political activist, and I'm exploring it head on in my autobiographical comic strip MISFIT'S JOURNEY.
The first installment of MJ has attracted the attention of webcomics guru Scott McCloud (who mentioned it in his blog) and webcomics critic/creator Joe Zabel (who is known for his collaborations with AMERICAN SPLENDOR writer Harvey Pekar and for his 3d comics work).
The art for MISFIT’S JOURNEY will be of interest to many people because it was done using a combination of digital photography and “midrange” 3d art applications such as Poser, Bryce, Carrara, and Shade.
I'm always interested in getting thoughts and feedback on MJ, so, if you're interested in my artwork, please read the first installment and let me know what you think of it.
This gallery contains images from the first episode of MISFIT'S JOURNEY as well as new pieces created for this gallery (and my gallery at Renderosity.com).
More information on me can be found at my blog at benadamsarts.com.

I have a 3D webcomic too. If you have a minute, check out the sample pages I uploaded.
